life update

Hey everyone! I am so incredibly sorry for my absence lately. Over the summer I was doing so well with keeping up with th blog, but college is hitting me hard with work. On Tuesday I had my statistics exam, my first college exam ever, and got a 94% because I busted my butt for a week, haha. I literally just finished my Astronomy exam and got a 92%! Yay! On Tuesday alone, I was working non-stop on schoolwork from 9:30 in the morning (pre-exam studying) to half past midnight (homework and Astronomy studying). I'm actually dead. I have another exam on Tuesday for my Writing Fundamentals for Communicators class, and it's all on grammar and it's going to be extremely hard... yay!...

On a much better note, I've found two literary magazines I'm going to try to start making stuff for. One "hired" me, it's more of a volunteer writer thing, and the other I'm going to see for the first time tonight! I'm super excited. I also kind of want to start my own literary magazine because none of the ones here are focused on fantasy or sci-fi material.

Even better yet... IT'S FALL. My amazing mom got me a pumpkin-scented air-freshener and a pumpkin-scented candle. Both are AMAZING. It's officially cooling down in Florida, at least at the University of Florida, and it feels great. I can sit outside and read and not sweat. It's also super gloomy and rainy usually so perfect movie and reading atmosphere (especially for Harry Potter).

twatd     Also, right now I am trying to read The Wrath and the Dawn. I'm in chapter two and loving it so far, the writing is beautiful, I just need more time because I really want to get invested in the story. I can actually go outside random places and read now and it's not weird because everyone is around campus doing work and stuff in random places, so I highly recommend college for that reason alone.

I miss you guys! What is everyone reading right now? How have you all been with school, work, or writing?

Thanks for reading!
