The summer book tag

Thursday, June 28, 2018, by taylorisreading

I have another book tag for you all this time from A.M. Molvik's Ramblings, and it is solely based on summer as we are deep in the midst of it - though I still haven't made it to the beach and I am in desperate need of a trip. August signifies the beginning of autumn in my mind, and you can argue with me on this, but I feel like that's how a lot of people see it.

So without further ado, here is the summer book tag:

What book cover makes you think of summer?
This is probably a given, but the cover of the Seventeenth Summer by Maureen Daly gives me such summer vibes.

What book brightened your day?
Tthe book that really brightened my day every time I read it, was Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell. The dorky, relatable romance was so heart warming and sweet and I just couldn't help smiling through all of it.

What book cover is yellow like the sun?
I'm not sure I own a yellow book, so I will have to go with Illuminae by Jay Kristoff and Amy Kauffman. It's very bright and orangey yellow, so it'll have to do.

What is your favorite beach read?
I don't actually read on the beach because I love the water and tanning, so I don't know what one would read on the beach, especially since I read fantasy like almost strictly, so maybe a Rick Riordan novel because they're light and easy.

What action book had you running for the ice cream man?
I'm really confused on what this means... does it mean like needing ice cream for comfort? If that is the case, I have to choose Allegiant by Veronica Roth because who didn't want to scarf down their weight in ice cream after that one?

What book left you with a bad or painful ending like having a sunburn after a day at the beach?
A COURT OF WINGS AND RUIN literally ruined me. You can see my in-depth review here, and I will have a video review up soon!

What book gave you the happiest feeling when it ending?
Also ACOWAR lol. Probably An Enchantment of Ravens <3 I adore that book.

What book cover reminds you of a sunset?
Crowns of Croswald by D.E. Night has a spectacular cover with pretty fairies in jars with the purples, yellows, oranges, and pinks of a sunset.

What is one book you hope to read this summer?
I really wanted to read ACOWAR, and I did, so I am very much set!

Let me know down below what your favorite summer read has been so far!

Thanks for reading,

Taylor.

  1. With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright
violation? My site has a lot of completely unique
content I've either authored myself or outsourced but it seems
a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my authorization. Do you know any methods to help protect against content from being stolen? I'd really appreciate it. http://hydroperfectuk.com/

  2. I have had people copy my short stories I posted to another site, but they credited me and linked to the original post, so I've never had a real problem (at least that I know about). I'm not really sure if there is a way to protect your content besidez confronting the people who do take it. I'm sorry that's not very helpful, but I'm sure if you googled a way to protect it you might find something!
