10 more creative writing prompts

I love doing these posts because trying different prompts is so much fun, and creating them really gets me in a writing mood and gets my creativity flowing. If you're stumped on your writing and want something to get you back into the swing of things, try writing about some of these. You can read the last ten prompts I did here.

Your character is escaping a murder they just committed, but that's not even his/her biggest regret...
~
You're standing in the middle of the ocean, how are you standing?
~
Who lit the fire burning down your childhood home, and why?
~
There's a holiday in a world entirely your own. Is it religious? Does everyone celebrate it? What is it about?
~
Use all of these words in your story: silky, slimy, soiled, sauntered, soaked.
~
Begin with: "After they left, I was alone with..."
~
Your character is in their favorite place in a fictional world you created.
~
Write about a place where a sky scraper is falling. Why is it falling?
~
Describe a feast setting to a person who can't see or smell.
~
Use this sentence: "What is that dripping down your forehead, girl?"
